YES Program: Canada’s best athletes visit elemenetary schools to deliver motivational presentations to Alberta’s youth. The informal and interactive presentations highlight the values of sport, thereby fostering the qualities of fair play, dedication, commitment, health and self-esteem.
Sport Heroes Project: Through a series of portraits of Canadian sport heroes by artist Gordon Milne, much needed financial assistance is being generated for another generation of Canadian Olympians.
Calgary Sport Council: Formed in 2000 as a result of a year-long consultation with the Calgary amateur sport community, the Calgary Sport Council believes that the existence of a strong sport community contributes to the quality of life in Calgary. Alberta Sport Development Centres: The Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation has established a network of Alberta Sport Development Centres (ASDC) across the province.  The main purpose of these Centres is to enhance and coordinate services available to Alberta's emerging athletes and coaches living in Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Medicine Hat and Red Deer.
